I was born on November 14, 1978. I like a spoof of Star Trek called §ev Trek. I love to read and both collect and read Star Trek books. I also collect pencils and I have over 1600. Some other things I like to do are: making stereograms, plants, writing poetry, origami, crafts, rocks, stain glass windows (although I have yet to really make one). I am a Seventh Day Adventist. Jesus is my best friend and I really cherish my relationship with Him. My favorite music is oldies and I also like Weird Al and old country.
I have helped with my mom's group of brownies (1st-3rd grade) on occasion. One year I helped my mom out when her troop when on a campout at a girl scout camp. The camp encircles a lake and has a trail bordering the lake that is used to move from one camp unit to the next.. At this campout we were supposed to walk around the lake, stopping to do various activities at each unit.. It was early spring of an exceptionally wet year and this had caused the lake to flood over the trail in several places. Because of this, troops moving around the lake were only to use the lake trail only on certain sections and to use the service road, which is farther from the lake, when the trail was flooded.. The leaders were informed which sections to avoid but as our group moved around the lake and my mom forgot to take the service road at the proper time. The first couple of times the trail was flooded, we walked around and then convinced ourselves it couldn't get worse.. It did. Three of the girls did not have rubber boots on and guess who got to carry them through all the flooded parts? Thus the name ferry. I also like Star Trek and the name USS ferryboat sounds like a starship name. That is why I use that form of my camp name. The § came from my favorite website §ev trek
