- Mix together
- 3 cups pecan meal
- 4 cups whole wheat pastry flour
- ¼ tbsp. sea salt
- Wisk in a separate bowl
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 3 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup canola oil
- Combine the two mixtures and stir well
- Using a teaspoon put dough onto an oiled cookie sheet
- Flatten each cookie with a fork to ½ inch thickness
- Bake @ 350° for 12-14 min or until cookies feel firm on top and look dry
