"Jesus is the only card I have left to play, but with that Card, I'll win the game." - Travis Allen 1981-99, Class of 2000, Auburn Adventist Academy

note: This drabble is based on a real experience that happened to me and my friend, too bad it wasn't Blair who showed up :P I'm the nosy one in the story :P

Auto Mechanics

"Excuse me!"

Blair looked up.

Two ladies were standing next to cars with raised hoods.

One was holding jumper cables.

"Can you help us with these?"

I knew I should have taken auto.

"Sure."

He took the cables and, grinning nervously, attached the red lead to positive.

She attached her end.

He started to attach the black lead.

"No, no. Me first."

She attached the black lead.

"Now, hook it to ground."

"Ground?"

"Hook it to the frame."

She turned to the other woman.

"Now, try the car."

It turned over.

"Thanks so much."

Blair smiled dazedly.

What'd I do?
