"Jesus is the only card I have left to play, but with that Card, I'll win the game." - Travis Allen 1981-99, Class of 2000, Auburn Adventist Academy

note: I figured that if I asked the listsibs to do one of my challenges for my birthday, I better do one too :P

Safety

Home from the hospital again.

Blair would recover.

This time.

Jim sighed, and sank down onto the couch.

Blair had already been half asleep when Jim had helped him into his room, so he'd dropped right off.

Jim frowned.

Blair was moving restlessly, searching for something.

Jim shoved himself off the couch to check, but Blair had settle back down before he got halfway there.

He paused, but decided to check on Blair anyway.

He stopped in the doorway and smiled.

Blair was curled on his side, a ragged stuffed wolf hugged to his chest.

The safety of childhood recaptured.

This was in responce to challenge number four of my normal challenges: Jim or Blair finds out that the other has a stuffed animal from childhood that they still occasionally sleep with.

note: Yes, I do sleep with a stuffed animal. I sleep with squeakette, a little mouse my sister sewed for me. :P
